VID-Server™ Essentials Platform
Providing video delivery and infrastructure components for Selection, Payment Authorization and Content delivery, this server array can operate in concert to provide adequate delivery for high-demand personal selection environments.

These Video-On-Demand servers operate under IP-TV or enclosed Cable networks to securely deliver consumer selected content to the Infinity STS™ set-top playback device. Authentication for account or payment can be cleared in postpaid, prepaid and instant payment modes. |
VID-Server™ IP-Academic
This server version is setup to deliver video library content, seminars and class lectures to TV set-top boxes using private university Intranet and public Internet networks. Using the “Selection Server” and “Content Server” for request and delivery, the IP-Academic can be positioned to deliver private viewings or replay of lectures, informational videos and other library materials.
On campus or off campus this system “Playback” is designed to be used with the Infinity STS (set-top selection) box. Content life-span is centrally controlled by the server at the point of delivery and automatically removed upon expiration.
The Payment Server can be deployed for charging accounts using either the “post-paid” account billing or set-top TV-box card swipe methods of credit card billing. |
